Wow, We're having a son! And we couldn't be happier! I love knowing more about the little sweets in there and can't wait to feel him move around. We had so much fun last weekend. First at the ultrasound just Steve & I waited as the last ones in the dr's office. Finally they called us in. Right away, without the tech saying anything I saw we were having a boy! After the whole scan was pretty much done, she finally said out loud that it's a boy! Ahhh, yay! We kept the secret till the next night when the family was coming over to hear the big news. The night of the ultrasound was a sweet one, dreaming of our future family with our precious son in it. I also got nervous thinking I don't know how to raise a boy! Steve reassured me he will be there to play legos, watch guys movies, and play with trucks in the dirt together. I am so looking forward to seeing my hubby become a daddy with our son. How precious!
Our family all came over dressed in blue or pink (Or both for my dad, who made a shirt that was half pink half blue!) Majority of the fam voted boy, and soon found out they were right. We revealed by letting out blue balloons out of our Christmas bag. The loud cheers were amazing! We had a fun night of pink+blue and revealing that there will be another Mr. Bongiorno to carry on the family name!

new arrivals: 2nd trimester & Christmas!
Thank you God for 2nd Trimesters! I'm not nauseous all of the time anymore, sleeping pretty well, and have much more of an appetite! 14 weeks on Friday, only 3 more weeks till we know if we're having a son or a daughter!! I feel like this ultrasound came fast! But we can't wait to find out boy or girl :)
Christmas has arrived in our new home! We're going to enjoy the tree and coziness as long as we can this season. We moved into our first house in August, and we are enjoying it. God has really blessed us, and we are so grateful. Our family helped us move and continues to be a blessing each and every day. ps. thanks mom for all of the cleaning you've helped me with while I've been so tired! But cheers again to the 2nd trimester and (hopefully) more energy on my part!

FOOD!
I think a switch has flipped, I am always hungry the last couple days! For the last couple weeks I haven't felt well and ate small portions. But now I'm up eating pb&j's at midnight! It's so funny how my cravings/food aversions change so quickly. I lived on animal crackers right when I found out I was pregnant, and after that I never wanted them near me again. But what's really getting me is whatever I see on tv I usually instantly want. I'm pretty undecided about what I want everyday, but if I see something that looks yummy, I'm in craving mode. At the hotel we were at this weekend there was this amazing breakfast buffet in a nice restaurant- like a DREAM! All of the food was so delicious, and I got to see it before I put it on my plate. Best personalized-for-me omelet and pancakes I've had. YUM :)
Don't judge me & all my plates! lol Had to try a little of all the breakfast goodness!
Week 12 Cravings: breakfast foods, PBJ, pasta, & fried chicken!

We're having a baby!
I am going to be a MOMMY!
Our sweet Baby Bongiorno's arrival date is May 17, 2013! We have never been happier. We found out the amazing news in September and couldn't wait to share with our families. We are making our parents into grandparents, and they are pretty thrilled about it! Auntie V, Uncle Dave, and Uncle Mike are excited too. Tears of joy were flowing when I saw those 2 pink lines!! Steve was eating his steak when I started screaming that there were 2 pink lines :) We were so thrilled! Sharing with family and friends has been exciting. Everyone has been so kind and excited with us. This little sweet pea is already bringing so much love and joy to our hearts. I want to start blogging to remember this special and exciting time, and also to share our joy with others.
Baby B, we are overjoyed that you are growing so well and that we will get to meet you in less than 7 months! xo
